Is it really INNOVATIVE to have free shipping over $100?  Not anymore.  It seems like everyone on the web has decided that having this offer is the standard.  Unlike other companies, we're honest about it.

What you really have to ask yourself is, what do you expect from the COMPANY, regardless of their fancy claims and offers?

Over the last 7 years of selling online, we have kept a single focus.  We treat every customer as if they were our first.  Sounds like yet another HOT AIR claim, but we can back it up, with the help of our customers.  A few facts:

• 99% of our customers return to purchase again.

We're most proud of this statistic because it shows that we've succeeded in doing our job.  Not just from a customer service point of view, but from a fair price perspective as well.  We believe there is more than just one element that goes into making a customer happy

• Less than a 1% return rate.

Some companies do a great job of selling product, but we understand that theirs more to a sale, than just SELLING.  Our staff actually uses the products we sell.  It goes deeper than reading a catalog, or simply trying on products in the store.  We make it a point to get out on the road and USE them as they were intended.  This isn't by any means cheap. 

While we do sell many of our demonstration items, selling used product doesn't help keep the lights on...  As you will see throughout the site, we use pictures of "US" using - demonstrating - and breaking many of the items for sale.  Nothing beats "real world" use.

• We're not afraid of spending time on the phone with our customers.

Whether the call is 2 minutes, or 20 minutes we understand that our customers have questions, and we want them answered as much as they do.  This is one of the reasons we feel we have such a low return rate.

 NEW SITE IS BORN

February 5th, 2007 is the DOB of our new site, and the retirement party for the old. 

Our old site was excellent in many ways, but by upgrading to this new CUSTOM system, we will be better able to service our customers.  Over the last 7 years we took pride in the fact that our online store was detailed, and had a ton of "personal" information on the products we sold.  We have every confidence that the new site will allow us to take that to the next level, but still keep with the "NON CORPORATE" feel and attitude.

WHAT YOU SHOW KNOW.

Over the course of the next few weeks we will be modifying the site in various ways.  Fine tuning if you will.

• This will include the various navigation avenues.
• How product appears throughout the site.
• What information is present.
• Incorporating VIDEO throughout.
• Many other small details.

ADVANTAGES

• Our customers will now be able to set up an account, so all their information will remain on our system for future purchases. However, if you chose not to setup an account, you won't be forced to.
• More detailed emails will be sent, to include your tracking#, and invoice#.
• For our "repeat customers, we will have an easier time tracking your purchase history.  This will allow us to offer special shipping offers, and to have confidence shipping to alternate addresses (other than the billing address as an example).
• Down the road we will be able to add in-depth reviews on various products, which will include video.

HOW TO BEST USE THE SITE

• Use the SEARCH feature on the HOME page.  This will allow you to narrow your purchases to a specified dollar amount, or even a single color, in that price range.
• Don't be afraid of panning down the page.  Often we will have reviews just below the DESCRIPTION box.
• As you cruise the site, notice that products ONLY for that section (STREET, DIRT, CRUISER) will appear in the side navigation.  Once again, it allows you to narrow your search to only those products you're interested in.  Who wants to see DIRT HELMETS when you're shopping for a STREET helmet?
• Our navigation "bread crumb" lists your every move, even between sections.  If you want to see something in the DIRT section, but are now in the CRUISER section, just click on the "bread crumb" and it will take you back.
