Fieldsheer’s Judy TX Textile jacket makes a great choice. It has a lot of cool features and can be used in almost every riding season.

The Judy TX features a 600 denier outer shell which is great for abrasion resistance and keeping the rider comfortable in most riding seasons. The Judy TX is a good choice in temperatures ranging from the 30’s to the mid 80’s. And of course the Judy is properly cut to flatter the female shape.

The included ThermoPilot inner liner provides a lot of warmth and it can be removed from the main jacket. It is a very nice liner that can be worn all by itself off the bike. Fieldsheer has gone the extra mile on their rain liners this year by making them more upscale and very different than every other brand we have seen.

The Judy TX works great in cold weather, but it also does very well in warmer weather too. The Judy features multiple Ram Air vents to help move air through the jacket which makes this jacket work in warmer weather. Fieldsheer makes a similar jacket called the “Judy Cool” which is a dedicated mesh jacket that will work better as a hot weather jacket.

The Judy TX offers great protection too. It comes standard with high-quality CE rated armor in the shoulders, elbows and also has a CE rated back pad. Many jackets have back armor, but it is typically not CE rated like the armor Fieldsheer uses. Our testers reported the armor to feel very natural and wasn’t even noticeable with the ThermoPilot liner installed.

The Judy TX also features a 100% waterproof breathable membrane which might come handy if you encounter rain showers. Other noteworthy features are plenty of pockets, adjustable sleeve snaps, soft collar and reflective material to help make you more visible at night.

Our testers were impressed with the features and quality of the Fieldsheer Judy TX jacket. The fit is natural and the armor system is not obtrusive. The liner can be used or removed to extend the riding season of this jacket. Whether it is freezing cold or getting hot out, the Judy TX will keep you protected in comfort and style.
