 We had a chance to evaluate the warmers at the first race of the season, and found them to work outstanding.  However, there is some give and take when it comes to using the TyrSox.

The warmers do an outstanding job of heating the tire to the correct temperature, and were easy to use in the pits.  They went on easy, and we like the idea of enclosing the entire wheel assembly.  Not only is the tire warmed, but also the wheel itself.  Nothing builds confidence like reaching down and feeling the tire and rim being warm before a session.

What is the "give and take"?  If you're the type that likes to spend as little time as possible dealing with your bike before and after session, the TyrSox might start to irritate you after a few hours.  Why, well, it takes about 2 minutes longer to put on the TyrSox, versus other brands.  First you have to roll on the heating element, then the outer insulator.  Not difficult, but it does add one step to the process.  We didn't mind the extra step, and felt the benefits outweighed the inconvenience.
