Because it’s about time.
XT Racing is proud to introduce its newest addition to its line of racing equipment, the X4 stopwatch. This is the stopwatch with a brain and is packed with features designed to help the person on pit wall get as much information as possible from the racers on the track. With the X4, you get full customization of the watch so that it will display and record the information that works best for you. And, like the Ultra-Lap, the X4 was designed by the racer, with the racer in mind. For detailed information about X4 see the following sections:
- Simultaneous, 4 person timing system
- Extra-large screen for easy visibility
- Timer can display gap between each racer along with their lap times
- Ability to start 4 timers all at once or one at a time
- Split time capability via a double-click of the button
- Lap reminder beeps to indicate upcoming lap and can be set to beep 5, 10 or 15 seconds before approaching lap
- Track distance input allows the timer to display lap speed in either miles or kilometers per hour
- Minimum lap time setting to avoid accidental button presses
- Personalization features allow you to insert names or numbers of racers to indicate who you are timing. Can save up to 50 names into a list.
- Stores up to 50 different track names as well as track distances (in miles or kilometers) for measuring average speed around a circuit.
- Stores approximately 10,000 laps in its memory bank along with track, date/time and rider who completed the lap.
- Customizable lap timing display lets you control how timing information appears on screen.
- Stopwatch is able to do either count-down or count-up timing.
- Built-in date/time alarm with 4 distinct alarm sounds
- Search for session and lap time information by date
- Upload information to your PC with optional download cable
- Personal ID input displays owner name on the main screen.
FAQ
Q. Does the X4 work in conjunction with the Ultra Lap timing system?
The X4 stopwatch does not communicate with the Ultra Lap timing system in any way. It is simply a manually operated stopwatch for use by racing spectators or crew members on the pit wall. However, if you own an Ultra Lap download module and USB cable, this module and cable can be used with the X4 to download lap time information to your PC. You will need to download a new download program specific to the X4 in order to download that information, but the same module and USB cable will work with the X4. The new software for downloading the X4 with the download module is available from XT Racing
